The Yankees went down to the Detroit Tigers last night, 3 games to 1. The Yankees payroll is about $112 million more than the Tigers (see below). The dream is still alive for the Tigers. I’m sure there are a few Yankees wondering and worried about where they will be come April 2006. A-Rod, the $250 million man. I’d hate to be him right now. Or any time after he signed that contract.

Tigers are still in it. Mets are still in it. I may fall in love with baseball again!
