If this battle between Obama and Clinton goes all the way to the convention in August, the one person who will benefit the most from the scrum will be Senator John McCain. People will tire of this battle between two people who are practically the same in regards to their approach to the various issues facing this country. The passion and fervor of the last few months will become nothing more than a dying ember and the next four years will not deviate all that much from the previous eight. Clinton will never quit. Obama is in the lead, but for how long, one can only guess.

As exciting as this has been, I am now afraid that the only first we will see is the first black democratic nominee or the first woman democratic nominee losing the race to the White House.
