Kudos to the marketing department of Ally Bank. The great thing about kids is that most of them have not been jilted or disappointed enough to develop a mask that disguises the fact that they are crestfallen or pissed off. When you reach adulthood, you soon realize that people will feed off your emotions. That is how they get leverage. Revealing our true feelings becomes a part of some twisted game that we can never really escape. We have to learn how to mask those emotions if we want to avoid tire tracks on our backs. But most kids haven’t grasped that whole concept of “upper hand” yet. So you end up with classic looks of anger and astonishment.
